This mix serves as a follow-up to the original February Flashbacks, because who wouldn't want another cheesy mixture of remakes and reworks, electro/dance style? DJ Nate Rusch - Dance Odyssey II (Electro House)

Although I enjoy a wide variety of music and regularly listen to several styles of dance music, Electro House is most definitely my favored genre. Electro House has seriously exploded onto the club scene in the past few years, dominating the mainstream club scene to the point where many danceheads complain of its saturation. I'll agree that it is at times repetetive, but there are many artists out there still producing quality work and solid, bangin' club anthems. Which brings me to the second installation of my "Dance Odyssey" series, devoted solely to Electro House.

There are a lot of really great songs in this mix, including a handful of reworks from the '80's and '90's. Nearly all of my favorite electro artists are represented here, plus a couple of new and emerging artists who have producing some really exciting tracks. Expect 80 minutes of non-stop, hardcore club bangers from start to finish (with a little bit of cheese on top :) ).

Top 30 of 2008

2009 is literally just around the corner, and I have (just barely!) finished my end-of-year mix. From house and dance pop to electro and progressive, this set features thirty of my favorite songs from the past year. Though i had an awfully difficult time selecting just 30 favorites, I think these songs represent the best of what I've been listening to over the past 365 days. Have a favorite song that I forgot? Something for your holiday travels

The first of a series of genre-specific mixes, this one showcases vocal house music at its finest. There's a little bit of everything here, from disco and funky house to pop remixes and modern commercial house. It's a bit cheesy at times, but I think it's a lot of fun, and practically guaranteed to get you on your feet. Not everything featured here is brand new. So yeah, this is late...

I'm not sure how I neglected posting this for so long. Maybe it's just the time of year. In any case, this is a mix of mainstream and electro remixes I put together more than a month ago now. It's little poppier than normal (at least until the halfway point), but that's OK. There are actually quite a few really good songs on it, so I suggest you give it a listen and see what you think! I <3 Klaas

This is a mix I've been wanting to put together for some time now, and I finally found the time to sit down and do it. Klaas Gerling has been my favorite remixer/producer since I first heard his remix of Greg Cerrone's Pilling Me early last summer. Since then, he's cranked out an impressive array of truly excellent remixes, along with a couple original songs, many of which have been my favorite tunes of the year.

I've done my best here to compile a fitting homage to one of my favorite artists. I did not use every remix or song Klaas has touched, but I came close, and I do believe these represent Klaas' 25 best works. If you enjoy his stuff, you should definitely support the man and buy his songs. All of these tracks (and more) are available for download at Beatport.

Bangeragion II

I put together the original Bangeration mix last July as a collection of bangin' electro tracks that I'd been hearing a lot of at the time. This summer, I decided to create a follow-up with a new set of the year's bigger electro and house tracks. Thus, I present the sequel to Bangeration - Bangeration II.

Though it's about four months old now, I think this is a really solid & enjoyable mix. It contains some of the biggest dance hits of the summer, as well as some lesser heard goodies that I discovered along the way. Much of this mix also played at the Halloween Foam party, so downloading this will give you yet another piece of that puzzle. Either way, I think you will enjoy what I consider one of my better mixes of the past year. Download away!
