My annual Flashbacks mix is a few days late, but I suppose that's par for the course, and by now, it's probably expected. Oh well.Rather than blabber on about the music in this set, here are some fun facts about this mix:
* This marks the third time I'vs used a remix/rework of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit." The only other song in this mix I've used before is Wolfmother's Woman, which is mashed with Journey's "Any Way You Want It" here
* Oldest original sing in this mix: Arethra Franklin's "Respect" (1967)
* Most recent original song: Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha" (2005)
* Though it's the longest track in this set, "I Want Your Sex" is edited considerably. I believe the original is over 11 minutes long!
