The last time I put together a pop mix was last December. Truth be told, as pop music creeps further and further into EDM territory, remixes/reworks become much less interesting, less dissimilar to the original, and I'm less inclined to use them in my mixes. After all, who wants to hear a slightly different version of a song that has been played on the radio over and over and over again? Thus, this mix is a bit different in that I tried to include a number of songs that were inherently "pop" in nature, but haven't been overplayed to the extreme. Not all of these tracks are "new", but this does pretty well represent my favorite pop remixes of the past six months or so.I'll have one more mix before the end of the year, so make sure to watch for that. As of right now it's entirely pop free...just lots of proggy, electro goodness to enjoy. It'll be a nice change after this one.
