Set it Off

This is gonna' be one hell of a weekend.

First up is Indiequeer Discotech with the Bag Raiders(!) tonight at Majestic. Tomorrow is the first FOAM party of the year at the Cardinal. Not to mention the fact that it's only mid-April, and it's 81-degrees outside. So to celebrate the beginning of FOAM season, I'm rolling out this brand new, high-energy mix.

It's been awhile since I've put out a real electronic mix, so I'm pretty happy with this one. Whether or not we'll be throwing any foam parties this summer is still a bit up in the air, but this is the type of peaktime music you could expect to hear. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Do yourself a favor and get out to at least one of the big parties this weekend if you're in town. They're shaping up to be pretty amazing.

Nate - I am in the same boat as you were several years ago with the foam machine. I live in Birmingham, AL and have been so frustrated trying to find a decent price foam machine rental. I have finally decided to just make my own. Can you give me some detailed plans how you did it? I read your blogs where you modified the Fun N' Foam toy. Should I purchase one and modify it like you did or did you come up with a better idea? Please email me at greermw1@yahoo.com if you can help. Thank you.

Mika S - Glad you enjoy the blog. You've got some nice finds on yours, too!

Melissa - I can happily send you details on how we finally were successful in building not just one, but two large foam machines very capable of filling a 12' X 12' dance floor in about 5 minutes. Give me some time to type it all out, and I'll try to send instructions your way sometime tomorrow.
